The Egg Sucker may soon replace, if it hasn't already, the Woolly Bugger as Alaska's favorite. This egg/leach hybrid, with the interesting but not factual moniker, was first created by Will Bauer of McBauer's Fly Shop in Anchorage. Since its introduction, the Egg Sucking Leach has been carried by fly casters to the far corners of the state with these results - it catches virtually every sport fish in Alaska's lakes, streams, and oceans. Period!
