This versatile and deadly nymph is used in lakes and streams for rainbows, graylings, cutthroat trout, Dolly Varden, and Arctic char. It can be fished dead drift in deep or shallow waters. In streams, allow the fly to swing around and drag in the current. In lakes, uses the count-down method to sink the fly to a desired depth, then retrieve it slowly with short jerks.
