Hook: #6, 2XL Thread: Danville Plus, orange Weight: Large Gold Bead Tail: Glo-Bug yarn, Alaskan Roe Body: Medium Ice Chenille, Fiery Orange Hackle: Saddle, white |

1) Place a large gold bead on the hook.. (You may have to pinch down the barb to get the bead over the bend.) |

2) Layer your thread along the shank, leaving the thread at the front, just behind the bead. |

3) Tie down a piece of glo-bug yarn on top of the shank and trim it to create a short tail. |

4) At the rear of the shank tie in the saddle hackle, by its tip, and the Ice Chenille. Bring the thread forward to just behind the bead. |

5) Wrap the Ice Chenille forward stroking the
fibers rearward as you go. Tie off and trim excess. |

6) Palmer the hackle forward, adding an extra
wrap just behind the bead. Tie off and trim the excess. |

7) Whip finish and cut your thread. The crew at Three Rivers swore on a case of Glo-bugs that this pattern is deadly on spring dollies. |
